The Annual Rotary Golf Tournament is here!

The 26th Annual New Milford Rotary / Red Cross Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday at Fairview Farm in Harwinton. Mike and I are looking forward to playing, although we may be a bit rusty. We started out the Spring season playing almost every weekend but the weather and other social commitments have kept us off the course for the past 2 months. We'll need some practice-tee time Wednesday morning!
As a co-chair of the event I'm also keeping my fingers crossed for good weather - which is predicted. Although the turn-out is lower than last year due to the depressed economy I'm confident that a good time will be had by all who play. It's a beautiful course. As you can see there are barns, silos and LOTS of trees to maneuver around. We'll let you know how we fared!
If golf weren't enough to keep us busy and happy, we are really looking forward to the weekend and a visit from Chris & Kate! Chris begins school on Monday so we very pleased to have this opportunity to spend time with them and show off Wildacres in all it's Summer greenery. We were in the midst of a snow-storm during their last visit! So lots of fun activity coming up for us.
Oh, and let's not forget the small matter of finding out if Jon & Jess will be having a girl or a boy - details on that to follow ...
