Fall Trip to Tennessee

We entered the Shenandoah National Park in Fort Royal, VA and drove about 45 miles on Skyline Drive before exiting at Charlottsville, VA for two days of visiting local wineries and sight-seeing.

Then off to Maryville, arriving on Thursday. Friday was a gorgeous day! After (another) great meal at one of Knoxville's fine eateries, we all attended an exhibition hockey game between the Knoxville Ice Bears and the Twin City Cyclones. Unfortunately, the Ice Bears lost, but it was a spirited match!

We also took a ride into the Great Smokey's National Park on an absolutely beautiful day. Look at our pictures if you'd like to see more.
