Today Katy was awarded the Leonardo DaVinci Award by New Milford Mayor Pat Murphy. Since 2001 it has been awarded each year to two outstanding citizens who have made significant contributions to the town. She's in quite prestigious company and for all she's done for the town, leading the Tri-Centennial celebration, Rotary, Friends of the Library, Historical Society, Planning Commission, Junior Women of CT, it is very well-deserved. Here are some pictures taken this noon hour at Town Hall. Note the green medal on her lapel in a couple of them. She truly is a Renaissance woman!
