Saturday it only took the two of us about five hours to denude the 9 or 10 Christmas trees of varying size then wrap and box all the ornaments. We also collected, wrapped and boxed a few hundred Santas, snowmen/women, reindeer and an assortment of other Christmas chotskies. Then it was only a matter of untangling, wrapping and storing a few thousand lights. The only remaining un-Christmasing are the outdoor lights, garland, trees and wreaths. That may take a while because some of them are covered by snow and ice.
We brought the live tree outside for its next assignment; to serve as a 'staging area' for all the birds that frequent our feeders. Through it all, Josie was able to remain calm and collected.
