On Saturday we spent a beautiful Spring afternoon with the extended Scofield family at Cousin Michael Minervino's home in Denville NJ. Michael and his wife Colleen hosted a terrific array of food, drink and fellowship. The occasion was Cousin Michael's birthday and the visit of another cousin, Bob Scofield from Tucson AZ. Bob has been a big-time college basketball referee for 21 years, the only ref ever to officiate both a men's NCAA Tournament game and a women's NCAA Tournament game. It was great to see him and meet his step-daughter, Brianna.
Elias, Jon and Jess came down from Upstate NY so many in the family were meeting him for the first time. Unfortunately, Kate is on a trip visiting orphanages in South Africa so we missed her and Chris. Nevertheless, it was the largest gathering of the extended Scofield family in quite some time and if you'd like to see some pictures of the event you can click here.

I'm SO SAD that I was out of the country for the party :( Looks like it was a perfect day for it - so glad you had fun and thanks for all the pictures!
