We celebrated Mike's birthday over the weekend with lots of fun activities: Friday night we saw the New Britain Rock Cats defeat the Trenton Thunder in an action-packed ball game under the lights; Saturday we had breakfast al fresco at Wildacres while reading the NY Times, hit golf balls in the afternoon and had a delicious dinner at The Old Drover's Inn in Dover Plains, New York. Built in 1750, the building has great ambiance and is a very romantic setting for a special occasion.
Sunday we played golf at Silo Ridge under bright blue skies and sunshine, where Mike continued to show his prowess with his new clubs. The day ended with a dinner of steamed clams and salmon enjoyed while watching the Met's game. Who could ask for a more entertaining 3 days?!
