Autumn in Litchfield County

We have had a couple of weeks of beautiful fall weather. We've welcomed the spectrum of autumnal colors even if we're not happy that the clang of the hot steam filling the radiators at 4:30 a.m. has returned so soon. Wildacres plantings have been transitioned from those that attract many butterflies and hummingbirds to the muted earth tones that reflect the time of the year. Katy and Mike are so grateful for the peacefulness and beauty that surround them in northwest Connecticut! Click on the picture above left to get a better view of some recent sights.
