We've been here in the heart of the Rocky Mountains since Thursday. We've had just perfect weather - bright sunshine, cold (but not too cold) and clear blue skies.It's Saturday afternoon as I (Mike) write this. We're on a ranch for Katy's Christmas present "Dig This" experience, driving heavy machinery to dig ditches, move boulders and shovel giant piles of dirt. At the moment she's building a road with a Caterpillar bulldozer and a big smile on her face.
An added bonus is that the Weather Channel had a crew here this morning filming a segment that will air later this month about outdoor winter activities. In addition to filming her excavating Katy also was interviewed!
We're taking lots of pictures. We'll be home Monday night and soon thereafter we will post a slide show of our trip.
