We have had a wonderful visit with Mike's daughter, Kate and her husband Chris, this weekend. They moved from TN to New Jersey this month because Chris will be attending Seton Hall University, studying to become a Physician's Assistant. It's so nice to have them living a 2-hour drive away!
It was a little rainy on Saturday for outdoor activities so we moved to 'Plan B' and drove to The Golden Age of Trucking Museum in Middlebury. I'm so glad that I finally made the trip - it's a fantastic museum. Even if you don't think of 'old trucks' as an interesting topic I think you will find this to be a fun and informative place to visit. Here is the link to a slide-show of photos that Mike took during our visit:

We stopped at the White Horse Pub in New Preston for a tasty late-lunch and, since the rain squelched our plan to attend the Concert-on-the-Green and hear The Woods Tea Company, we watched the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire', which we all enjoyed.
They're on their way back to NJ now, and although we are sad to see them go, it's less difficult to say good-bye knowing they are just around the corner! Mike is really feeling blessed that both of his children are within visiting distance.
Big news coming up this week: Jon and Jess will find out if they are having a boy or girl ... how exciting!!
