A Horse of Course

We've had a pig on the deck, chickens in the woods and sheep in the road. Last night we had horses in the yard. I grabbed my 10-gallon hat and a leash from a long-gone dog, pulled on my rattlesnake boots (actually, clogs) and joined Katy and our neighbor Carl (who has a beautiful horse farm on the top of the mountain) in trying to wrangle the two horses down the hill through the woods into the corral of our down hill neighbor Joe. We eventually got them there, couldn't keep them there, so back they came to the tasty Wildacres grass. Late last night Farmer Joe came up and put them in his Jeep and drove them home (I think). And I can't get the theme for "Mister Ed" out of my brain.
