Change of Schedule

Beginning in mid-January Mike started a new assignment within his company, Ingenix. Instead of commuting 55 miles each way he's now working from home and loving it! He's gained 2 1/2 hours in each workday, some time for reading and practicing the dulcimer.

The Christmas fairy cottage is slowly returning to country homestead. After a hectic holiday season life has been a lot slower. Grandpa Jack is doing really well and we're very grateful for that. On Saturday we're headed to NJ to have dinner with him, Steve & Marie, Greg & AnneMarie at Jack's favorite spot, Luzzi's Hibernia Inn (the Luzzi family's intersection with the Scofield family for the past 65 years is worth its own blog).

As of January 1 Katy has become president for the Friends of the New Milford Library. Mike was recruited to be the Recording Secretary. Last night was the first meeting of the year; we'll raise a significant amount of money this year to benefit the library.

Just like for most places in the country it's been quite cold here in Litchfield County - and we're enjoying it!
